Juneau Whale Watch Tour from a wonderful Jet Cat boat. We will be looking for breaching whales, sealions, bears, eagles and sites of the area! My 9th time doing this…it’s outstanding!!!

Tuesday, May 20th

Breakfast on your own. This day will be the private photo tour with Joe Ordonez. He will take us all around Skaway!

Wednesday, May 21st - ON THE SHIP

The ship will let us know what time we will enter the Endicott Arm and Glacier Bay. You can stay in your stateroom and watch everything. No need to go above deck. Once we get to the Glacier the ship will spin around for an extended period. You don’t have to run around. Sometimes the sunrises are incredible from your room. The sun will rise about 6:00 a.m. this week. Plan on getting up if your room is on the east side. As the ship enters the park…the images are wonderful and as the ship LEAVES

And as everyone goes for breakfast…DON’T…. keep photographing the outside and mountains, clouds and more (once in a while we will see whales there) …some of my favorite images come from leaving the Arm. You can come to my stateroom…we have a 26 ft. wide outside deck if you need help or want to just be with me!!! LOL

Thursday, May 22nd -

We will board the Bering Sea Crab ship for a wonderful 3 hour tour of how they catch crabs, looking for eagles and lots more. This is a fun and wonderful trip…not in the open sea!

Saturday, May 24th - the ship arrives in Seattle about 7:00 a.m. You will be given disembarkation informaiotn in your state room the day before.

More info…

KETCHIKAN - A DEADLIEST CATCH BOAT TRIP (AS SEEN ON THE BERING SEA SHOW) where we will take a tour on an actual ship. The Aleutian Ballad became legendary when the ship was featured in Season 2 of Deadliest Catch. Viewers watched in amazement as a 5-story tall rogue wave nearly capsized the vessel. Today, you have the opportunity to step on board and into the fantastic world of Alaskan crab fishing. When you step on deck for the tour, you may just find yourself sailing with several captains and crew members you know from the television series. Today, the Aleutian Ballad features protected seating for guests and a “live tank” where you can enjoy an up-close view of the day’s catch. Our route is a calm, family-friendly tour of Alaskan crab waters.

  • THINGS YOU WANT TO KNOW
Our calm, family-friendly tour is nothing like the rough storm waters seen on Deadliest Catch. While the Aleutian Ballad is an authentic crab fishing boat that has battled many ocean storms, we now navigate safely through the channels of the Inside Passage, close to shore and away from any rough open waters.

  • VICTORIA CANADA - THIS EVENING YOU WILL BE ON YOUR OWN TO EXPLORE THE CITY!

****For an individual this is over a $1200 value and you paid less than $100!!! Stephen’s travel agent deal!!!

Read this portion carefully.

1. Stephen is a certified travel agent and will make your reservations on the ship.

2. We have reserved several cabins at this point for the best viewing.

3. You can spend as much as you like on your cabin (suites, veranda suite or even take an inside cabin to save a huge amount.

4. All Ships charge a little extra for “single” rooms.

5. Cruise ships always offer “discounts”, Stephen receives the same or even a larger discount depending on our group size and some extras for the groups.

6. Do not make your reservation yourself -even if you’re a member of the Princess discount program.  He can take care of this.

7. DUE TO THE DISTANCE FROM ST. LOUIS– WE STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT YOU ARRIVE IN SEATTLE THE DAY BEFORE TO MAKE SURE YOUR LUGGAGE ARRIVES BEFORE YOU GET ON THE SHIP.  THIS IS AT YOUR OWN COST.  ON A VERY SERIOUS NOTE - STEPHEN HAS PERSONALLY EXPERIENCED THIS SITUATION, AND SPENDING 3 DAYS ON A SHIP IN ALASKA IN A SWEATSHIRT AND 2 PAIRS OF SHORTS IS NOT FUN!!! PLEASE ARRIVE THE DAY BEFORE!

8. You are responsible for your own transportation to SEATTLE.

*The schedule of off ship excursions may change as needed with the vendors and as the ports arrivals may change with ship. We also recommend insurance - to cover the excursions too.  We will walk you through the cost. A 3% service fee will be added if you use a charge card.
